Film Support and Expeditions

Film support, Iditarod Expeditions, multiday snowmobiling and Alaskan events - Snowmobile rentals and guided rentals with Alaska Snowmobile Tours and Rentals Alaska Backcountry Access provides film support for several documentaries and reality TV shows yearly. Iditarod takes you closer to the real AK at the controls of your own snowmobile. Guides lead the way either along the Iditarod Trail, Eureka/Lake Louise, Denali Highway, Petersville or combine several areas into multi-day packages. Snowmobile rentals are available at trailheads and for events like Iditarod and Arctic Man. We have a special line of Alaska workhorse snowmobiles to tackle any job including film support, surveying, hunting, cabin building, and recreating.
Canyoneering

It was one of the most unique experiences of our lives. The view when riding the snowmobiles is breathtaking!…you just begin to really appreciate mother nature. We had a few breaks on our way and then finally stopped at a glacier for hot coco and snacks.

My mother and I went on an AMAZING snowmobiling adventure in March of 2016! Alaska Backcountry Access has top of the line snowmobiles, snow gear, and people! The day before it snowed a bunch so we had fresh powder and we were out on the trail for a little over 5 hours. The owner (Andy) was very patient (we tipped over quite a few times!) and truly led us on an adventure to the Nelchina Glacier. We made frequent stops along the trail to snack, take pictures, and stretch out your legs. The view was breath-taking and the experience went from riding in the trees, to open meadows, to deep powder around the Nelchina Glacier! Andy even let us venture around in the meadows by ourselves and try riding in some VERY deep snow…it was a GREAT experience!! Highly recommend!!
